Black and Tan

Happy Thursday! We finally got our wi-fi back so I’m super excited about this post! I love to mix black and tan because I think the colors compliment each other very well. This bag/shoe combo is one of my Summer favorites.

You may have noticed in magazines or in stores that checkered print is very on trend right now. My top is from Zara last season but you can find a similar style here.

This top came with a belt that matched the fabric of the shirt, but I wanted to bring in the tan from my bag and shoes so I added this bow belt from Target instead. Only $14.99!

These pants are called the Perfect Form Ankle Pant from White House Black Market, and they really live up to their name. I recommend them to most of my clients because they are universally flattering (they have regular, petite, and curvy styles) and they can be dressed up by pairing with heels or dressed down with a cute ballet flat. Perfect for business casual or your kids’ carpool.

My sunglasses are by Kate Spade. As you may have read and/or seen in previous posts, I am really drawn to a cat eye shape. I have high check bones so I tend to find that this style fits my face frame best.

I found these super cute Prada sandals on sale at Nordstrom last Summer. If you wanted to create a similar look you could pair your outfit with a shoe like this one instead.

My handbag is Prada, but Michael Kors has a similar style that is currently 25% off at Nordstrom right now. It’s a classic color and style that can be worn year round.
