Navy and Army green have been two of my go to colors this year, and I love how easily they transition for Fall. These colors are easy to wear and are universally flattering. If I had a uniform, it would be this: edgy basics mixed with cool accessories. This look is the epitome of dressy casual. I can pair it with a neutral ankle boot like this one from Sam Edelman for day and switch to heels for evening. This navy leather jacket is one of my favorite finds from my trip to South Africa. We did a bit of shopping in Durban, and I found this jacket at a cute little boutique. It is lightweight and perfect for Houston’s warm Fall temps. I found a gorgeous faux leather drape front jacket by Kut from the Kloth that comes in 4 colors and is under $60!
Speaking of cool accessories, how amazing is this JORD watch? It is made of maple wood and has the most beautiful rose gold face. It is a statement piece in and of itself, but it also looks great stacked with rose gold bracelets to dress it up. The face is large and easy to read, and it is super lightweight. JORD watches are moderately priced, offer both men’s and women’s styles, and are a great gift idea for the upcoming holiday’s!These army green utility pants from J. Crew are my everyday go-to. Sadly, this style is sold out, but I found a similar style by Sanctuary at Nordstrom. An army green utility pant is a wardrobe staple, and I have recommended it to almost every client this year. Army green is the new khaki so they go with everything, you can wear them year round, and they can be worn dressy or casual. I paired my navy jacket and green pants with a basic tee. I like doing a “front-tuck” when wearing t-shirts or boxy silhouettes because it creates more shape and shows off more of your waistline. The necklace I’m wearing is by Stones by Kate. I discovered her designs at a boutique in the River Oaks Shopping Center called KB Kasuals. Each piece is handmade and unique. I bought two of her necklaces, the one I’m wearing with an antler pendant and another one with a feather pendant, and they are my favorite go-to necklaces. I get tons of compliments each time I wear them. These. shoes. are. amazing. They are very similar to these Valentino pumps, but wait for it, they are from Zara and are under $100! I was immediately drawn to them because of the python print and the beautiful colors. This is a statement shoe so pair it with basics and it adds an instant pop to your outfit. *Stylist note-Zara shoes do not come in half sizes so if you’re in between sizes then size up.
